On Tuesdays between 11.00 and 12.00 all those of us who are free meet at church for coffee and chat (or for those who prefer – a tea!) Over a biscuit we exchange news with the folk we like to see, we sit and put the world to rights – it is the place to be! It’s a social occasion and lots of fun where friendship is the key. The people in charge are the Ladies’Guild and it’s a snip at 50p.
The indoor bowlers meet on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons during the autumn and winter months, and enjoy crown green bowling throughout the summer. Competitions with other clubs are arranged and give rise to friendly rivalry. New members of all ages are most welcome.
This group organise occasional day trips, usually with lunch, to various places of interest.
Women of all ages meet occasionally in the evening at various homes to relax and socialise over coffee. Dates are published in the church Bulletin and web-site calendar. |
Badminton and Table Tennis Club meets on
Monday evenings 8.00 till 10.00 p.m. A friendly group of
all ages who enjoy the banter and laughter as much as the
games. New members always welcome.
